Our Lady’s Missionaries of the Eucharist
…striving to bring the world to the Eucharist and the Eucharist to the world…
Who We Are:
Est. 1978
OLME is a Public Association of the Christian Faithful which means the Catholic Church has approved who we are and what we do. OLME was established in 1978 in the Diocese of Arlington (VA) in response to Vatican II’s universal call to holiness. Our founders, Sister Joan Noreen and Bishop Thomas J. Welsh, developed a spiritual “exercise” program using classical Catholic spirituality to provide our members the structure needed to strive for holiness of life day by day. As OLME, we look to Mary, our Mother, to guide us so that every aspect of our lives, our very being, is centered entirely on the Eucharist, and to teach us how to be her missionaries in the heart of the world.
What we help you achieve:
Holiness of life, the path to personal sanctity, the path to heaven requires that we spend time with the Lord each day. For more than 40 years, OLME has shown men and women with very busy schedules how, through a gradual, day-by-day process to place God first place in our lives. As we hear in Psalm 23, the Good Shepherd desires to refresh our souls, but we have to allow Him that time. OLME helps you find that time in the midst of your busyness.
